I am currently professor for Classical Philology (Greek) at Friedrich Schiller University, Jena.
I wrote my doctoral thesis on: Chor und tragische Handlung im 'Agamemnon' des Aischylos (Stuttgart : Teubner 1993) and my "Habilitation" thesis on Die Aristotelische Kategorienschrift in ihrer antiken Kommentierung (Tübingen : Mohr Siebeck, 2004).
