POVRAY & POVLAB + PowerBASIC Source:

Here you can find some plugins I have written for POVLAB, an excellent POVRAY modeller and some small programms for POVRAY itself. Because most POVRAY users use C/C++ most will be interested in the plugins. For more things about POVRAY/POVLAB look at the links and my pictures ! If you have written something in PowerBASIC for POV... write me !

RS-IFS Plugin V1.10 + for POVLAB -
This is a plugin-version of RS-IFS for Denis Oliviers excellent modeller POVLAB for the great freeware raytracer POVRAY. It can create IFS-objects you could edit and use in your own pictures. Plugin for 387 with preview function and many IFS files (many NEW IFS by Theo Erken included and source in the "+" ver !!!). (43KB)

3DFERNPLG3DFERN Plugin V1.02beta for POVLAB > 3.20 & PLUGIN LIB for PowerBASIC 3.xx - Like RS-IFS 3DFERN also creates an Iterated Function System Object for Denis Oliviers POVLAB, but the fern isn't only 2D like the examples of RS-IFS, it's 3D ! Source & EXE for the plugin and the PLUGIN LIB (source) for PowerBASIC are included. (27KB)

PYTHTREEPYTHTREE - A program that draws the "Tree of Pythagoras" on the screen and outputs a POVRAY file you can raytrace in POVRAY 1.0 (I never had this version, but perhaps not everybody has new versions !). For POVRAY 2.xx, 3.xx beta, 3.xx you must include the switch "-mv1.0" in your commandline or the tree will look strange. An all time classic fractal ! (3KB)

REKTREE & BAS2POVREKTREE & BAS2POV - Also a fractal for POVRAY including a small lib for creating POVRAY files from PowerBASIC called BAS2POV. This lib works only with POVRAY 2.xx, in POV 3 there are problems !!! The recursive tree is originally taken from an old GDR BASIC book, that's why it uses linenumbers - it's beta, perhaps somebody can develop it further. (3KB)
