Travel to Jena
Air Connections

International airports are in Frankfurt, Berlin, or Munich. If you
arrive at Frankfurt-Airport, it will be most convenient to take an
Intercity train to Weimar. Intercity trains stop at the Airport
Terminal 2. Change train in Weimar for a short (15 minutes) trip on
the local train to Jena (total riding time ca. 3 hours). Arrival at
Jena-West. If you arrive in Berlin or Munich, use public
transportation to get to the station. Take an Intercity train to
Jena-Paradies (riding time ca. 4 hours).

Alternatively you can book connecting flights from Frankfurt, Berlin,
and Munich or other European destinations to Leipzig or Erfurt. A
shuttle service from the airport to Leipzig Central Station will be
available. Intercity connections from Leipzig to Jena-Paradies take
ca. 1 hour. From Erfurt airport, take a taxi to the Central Station,
and then a local train to Jena-West (riding time 40 minutes).
Train

From North and South: the Intercity connection Berlin-Munich stops at
Jena-Paradies. 10 minutes walking time to convention center. Taxi cabs
are available across the street.

From West and East: Intercity trains Frankfurt-Dresden stop at Weimar;
change for a short (15 minutes) trip on the local train to
Jena. Arrival at Jena-West, about 15 minutes walking distance to
congress venue. Taxi cabs are available in front of the
station. Interregio trains of the line Aachen-Chemnitz stop directly
at Jena West.

Car

Coming from the East or West: Highway A 4
(Brüssel-Frankfurt/Main-Jena-Dresden). Take exit #53(Jena-Göschwitz)
and turn left (North) to reach Jena city.

Coming from the North or South: Highway A 9 (Berlin-München). Take
exit #24 at the Hermsdorf junction and change to highway A4 to the
West (direction Frankfurt/Main), take exit #53 to
Jena-Göschwitz. Turn left (North) to reach Jena city.
